2023 Game: Charged UpDuring our second year at VHS, we decided to grow our team and push the limits of our robot building skills.
2022 Game: Rapid ReactDuring our first year at Vestal High School, we worked hard with minimal equipment to field a succesful robot with only 9 students!
2020 Game: Infinite RechargeDuring our last year at Union Endicott, we build a great robot, but were unable to compete because of COVID-19.
2019 Game: Deep SpaceThis robot featured an elevator, mecanum drivetrain and focused on picking up cargo.
2018 Game: Power UpThis robot had our first swerve drivetrain, a custom one based off of 2767's design.
2017 Game: FIRST SteamworksDuring the 2017 year, team 2053 used a sheet metal design with our drive gearboxes built into the drivebase for durability. We focused on getting the gears to the ship as fast as possible.
2016 Game: FIRST StrongholdDuring the 2016 year, team 2053 developed a one-of-a-kind drivetrain called Macatankanum. This allowed the robot to be manuverable and still traverse the obstacles on the field.
2015 Game: Recycle RushOur most reliable robot, made it to quarter finals this year with almost no issues in the pit!
2014 Game: Aerial AssistDuring 2014, our team was growing and involved a lot more students from Vestal. We designed a robot with a catapult.
2013 Game: Ultimate AscentDuring 2013, we introduced students from Vestal into the club. We made it to finals at the Virginia Regional!
